Payment of Fees

Regulations for the Payment of School Fees
  1. Registration and admission fees must be paid before the child can start school.
  2. Fees are payable termly in advance and must be paid at the start of the term.
  3. Government regulations require that children and wards of all officials of Diplomatic Missions and International Organisations should pay fees in foreign exchange.
  4. Those who pay in foreign exchange through their foreign accounts are requested to write their cheques in foreign currency. If a cheque sent for collection attracts extra charges, the school will ask the parent to pay them.
  5. A full term’s fees are payable irrespective of the actual date of admission, re-entry or withdrawal.
  6. Where pupils will be absent for a full academic year and parents wish places to be kept, fees must be paid in full for the period of absence; otherwise pupils will be considered as new entrants and admitted when a vacancy occurs, on payment of a new admission fee.
  7. A term’s written notice (i.e. Three months) is required on withdrawal. If no such notice is given, a term’s fees must be paid in lieu thereof. Exception to this rule may be made at the discretion of the Principal, if the withdrawal is made necessary by unforeseen transfer of parents. In any case, written notice must be given as soon as plans are known.
  8. Fees are not refundable in the event of a pupil being expelled, nor in any other circumstances.
  9. The Directors of the School reserve the right to raise the scale of fees during the course of the school year.
  10. The School has a financial aid scheme for which parents facing undue hardships may apply. Applications for help can be submitted to the Principal to the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
  11. Classification for payment of fees is determined either by the nationality of the parent/guardian who undertakes to be responsible for the payment of fees, or the fee category he/she is permitted to opt for.
  12. Where a child has been admitted in one fee category to gain special access to the school, the Directors reserve the right not to permit reclassification in the event of a change of circumstances.
